Mr. CrazygonutsThe web can be a strange place. Luckily, Dr. Kokonuts, your Off the Wall administrator, is a little crazy and likes strange things. Like the many corners of the galaxy, the Internet also holds the biggest surprises in the places surfers fear to tread. Off the Wall, our weekly feature publishing every Tuesday, takes you to the parts of the WWW you were never meant to see.

Alien performance art
Have I ever mentioned that I love the Internet? If not for the Internet, we just wouldn't have access to the gloriously weird world we live in. There is no better example of that than this little piece of performance art in which cartoon aliens reenact Tom Cruise's Today Show interview with Matt Lauer. It's just perfect.

Bulgarian Idol
I'm quite positive that anything connected to Bulgaria in any way is guaranteed to be funny. Clearly, Bulgaria rules. But this clip from Bulgarian Idol (which they call Music Idol) takes the cake. This girl tries to sing Mariah Carey's "Without You" (in English!) while butchering the words in the most comical way possible. I love it.

Reserve a spot in heaven
Evangelical Christians would have you believe that you need to do things like pray, read the bible and go to church to make your way into heaven. As it turns out, all you really need to do is reserve a spot on this useful website. And, if you're one of those people who likes to do things differently, you can even reserve a spot in hell. You can't lose!

Fire Sam Mitchell
I feel bad about openly pining for the Raptors to fire Sam Mitchell, and I'm sure I wouldn't like it if someone started a website campaigning for me to lose my job. However, Sam's insistence on playing TJ Ford and Andrea Bargnani cost the Raptors a series against Orlando, and sitting Jamario Moon after starting him for 80 games seemed ridiculous to me. Add in the fact that he can't make up a play during a time-out to save his life, and I think we can agree it's time for Sam to go. No hard feelings, though.

How to spin a pencil
When I was in high school, I had a friend named Gerald (he's still my friend) who could spin a pencil on his fingers like nobody's business. He tried to teach me how to do it a few times, but it never quite sunk. Now the Internet has succeeded where Gerald failed. Alas, he tried.
