Some things will change when you move your telephone service to Rogers Home Phone, but the most important thing to know is that you can keep your existing telephone number* and jacks.
Rogers Home Phone operates on a privately managed network so your calls are secure. This means that the audio quality as well as the local calling area offered is the same as traditional telephone service.
Rogers Home Phone service requires a terminal in your home to connect to the Rogers Cable network. A technician will install the service for you. Rogers Home Phone basic service includes one calling feature with many more features available from which to choose.
There are many long distance packages to choose from, and the advantage with Rogers Home Phone is that you don't have to pay long distance charges when you call any other Rogers Wireless, Rogers Home Phone or Fido® customers.

On your change date, you will experience a short disruption to your ACI phone service including 911 for up to one hour. If you need to use your ACI phone service during this time, you can reset your VoIP service terminal (MTA) and your phone service will be immediately restored. If you have subscribed to Rogers Home Phone, your Cablephone will be switched during your scheduled appointment (after the change date). If not, your Cablephone will stop working after the change date.
